Astonishingly, many individuals who had expressed their condolences moments earlier shifted their focus, joyfully extending birthday greetings and offering well-wishes.

The juxtaposition of these contrasting reactions raises important questions about the mindset of individuals in the digital world. Is it a case of senselessness, where people act without considering the impact of their words and actions? The Kerala Story- Why deface the State of Kerala.

How would you perceive someone who claims to have 32,000 children when they actually have only three? This exaggeration is comparable to the scale at which the state of Kerala is defamed because its people refuse to succumb to the hate-driven and divisive political strategies employed by certain political parties. Before forming opinions, take a moment to reflect on the Keralites you know personally. Look beyond the political games played by parties and strive to understand the motives behind such statements.

In today's digitally connected world, information is readily available and often unverified. We tend to believe what aligns with our interests, prejudices, biases, insecurities, or personal experiences. This selective perception shapes our understanding of the world. Consider the instances where you received information through social media channels from friends or relatives, only to realize later that it was incorrect. Numerous strategies are employed to deceive people, including manipulative advertisements by large corporations, businesses, and political entities. Such tactics have been employed for years.

To make the world a better place, there are three fundamental and straightforward actions one can take: to better oneself, to think critically, and to ask questions. By embracing these practices, we can navigate through the information overload and seek the truth beyond the surface. It is essential to be vigilant and discerning in an era where misinformation and manipulation are prevalent.

By constantly repeating these lies, eventually lead some to believe them. Hitler also incorporated fragments of truth within these larger lies, making it appear credible when researchers discovered some accurate information. A similar phenomenon is occurring in the portrayal of the Indian state of Kerala.

Kerala is actually one of the most advanced and developed states in the Republic of India. However, due to the some political parties lack of success in the state, numerous false narratives about Kerala have been propagated. One recent example is a movie promoted by several party workers and leaders, which seeks to defame Kerala, the Muslim religion, and the women of Kerala. This film falsely portrays a phenomenon called "love jihad" and claims that around 32,000 women have been converted to Islam and recruited by ISIS, which is an absolute fabrication.

In reality, the official records show that only six women from Kerala joined ISIS, of which three were born Muslims, two converted from Christianity, and one from Hinduism. While the issue of recruiting individuals to ISIS is a grave concern and demands attention, the movie's plot wrongly depicts these conversions as forced. Instead, as a nation, India should unite to protect its citizens. It is essential to highlight the significant achievements of Indian intelligence agencies in preventing vulnerable youth from being radicalized, rather than promoting hate stories for political reasons. Compared to other countries, including European and American nations, India has been successful in curbing such recruitments, considering the size of its Muslim population. Several factors contribute to this success, including India's culture of unity in diversity, the values and teachings within individual Muslim households, and the perception of Indian Muslims by extremist groups, who view them as less rigid and more adaptable.

This phenomenon extends beyond Kerala; it can be observed in numerous states where progress and human indices take precedence.

The region's longstanding history of communal harmony and tolerance has fostered an environment where individuals from various religions have peacefully resided together for generations. Another concerning issue is that leaders of these states frequently criticize the progressing states, only to later adopt their advancements. They expect other states to replicate what has been accomplished elsewhere while disparaging policies, food habits, culture, socio-psychological practices, and even the education system.

Instead of fostering a culture of constructive engagement and learning, this approach often perpetuates a sense of resentment and stagnation. It is crucial for leaders to encourage openness, collaboration, and a willingness to adapt and implement successful models from other states. By embracing progressive ideas and practices, all states can work together to bridge the development gap and uplift the entire nation.

When someone defames a state like Kerala and its women, they fail to recognize that women, regardless of religion, possess inner strength and agency. They cannot be forcefully converted through any form of so-called "love jihad." Women are capable individuals who can think critically and act according to their own wishes. Sanamahism is an indigenous religion that originated in Manipur, a northeastern state in India. Rooted in the traditions and beliefs of the Meitei people, Sanamahism holds a central place in their cultural and spiritual identity. With its rich mythology, rituals, and practices, Sanamahism reflects the deep connection between the Meitei people and the natural world around them.

At its core, Sanamahism is a nature-centric religion that reveres and worships various deities, spirits, and ancestral beings. The term "Sanamahi" refers to the supreme deity or the creator, and the followers of Sanamahism believe in the existence of a pantheon of gods and goddesses who govern different aspects of life. The Energy Cup 2023

In the organisation that I work, the Energy and Utility (E&U) is one of the business units in APAC strategic Business Unit. I belong to this BU. after covid, we are all looking for opportunity to connect with each other face to face. And that is when we got Bandhan coming right the corner. 

Each year, a special family function known as "Bandhan" takes place in my organisation, This is celebrated separately within individual business units. Bandhan serves as a celebration where employees have the opportunity to invite their family members to join in the festivities. It was not been celebrated for the last few years due to the pandemic and the lockdown. This year its decided that we need to have Bandhan celebrated.

Within the E&U business unit, an additional event called the "Energy Cup" has become a cherished tradition. The Energy Cup is a sports championship held exclusively for the employees of the E&U division. This year, the Energy Cup is set to be even more exciting as it becomes an integral part of the Bandhan celebrations.

The sports championship of the Energy Cup features three thrilling sports: cricket, badminton, and table tennis (TT). These sports provide an opportunity for employees to showcase their skills, team spirit, and competitive prowess. Participants from across the E&U business unit eagerly join forces, forming teams to compete for the coveted championship trophy.

The competition is intense, with all the directors of the E&U business unit forming their respective teams. The twelve competing teams this year include the Edwin Edwin Warriors, Fire Warriors, L4L Mavericks, L4L Eyes, Golden Tigers, EU Army, Hennai Kings, DS Challengers, Upstream Strikers, Power Connect, Upstream Spartans, and Royals. Each team brings their unique strengths, strategies, and camaraderie to the tournament, fostering an atmosphere of healthy competition and mutual respect.

The grand event is scheduled to take place at the picturesque Amoon Resort, located in Bangalore. The resort provides a perfect backdrop for the festivities, offering lush green surroundings, state-of-the-art sports facilities, and a comfortable ambiance for participants and their families.

As the Bandhan celebrations unfold, employees and their families will witness not only thrilling sports matches but also a sense of unity and togetherness. The event serves as a platform for employees to bond outside of the workplace, strengthening relationships, and fostering a sense of belonging within the E&U business unit.

With a blend of sportsmanship, teamwork, and the joy of family participation, the Energy Cup's inclusion in the Bandhan celebration promises a memorable and uplifting experience for all involved. As the teams compete, the atmosphere will be filled with cheers, laughter, and moments of triumph, creating lasting memories that will be cherished by the CGI E&U community. I am one of the organising members along with Raju, Renjith, Mansoor, Ashwini, Nayan and some others. We are helped by MOE an event management company in doing things right.

We are expecting around 2000 people to join us, including the family members of our members in the E&U BU. We also have a team from Chennai competing for the championship. I wish all of the success.

Prince Charles, for instance, is set to become the next monarch solely because he was born to the late Queen Elizabeth of England. Monarchy is viewed as an antiquated and primitive method of selecting a leader, resembling a corporate structure where wealth is simply passed on to the successor. In this context, the subjects of the monarchy are akin to employees who are compensated for their services. However, unlike in other systems, the lives of individuals are dependent on a specific family in the case of monarchy.

The perplexity lies in why the people of England continue to show reverence to someone who symbolizes the mass atrocities committed worldwide. This individual represents not only a particular family but also the power associated with that family, which adheres to a singular religious belief. Furthermore, the ceremonial recognition of the head of state in the United Kingdom predominantly revolves around Christianity. In a country where people of various religions coexist, it raises questions about the prominence given solely to Christianity. Despite the presence of people from other religious backgrounds participating in public life, such as the non-Christian Prime Minister, the overwhelming majority of ceremonial activities predominantly involve Christian practices.

Consider this: would it be acceptable if the Prime Minister's inauguration ceremony was conducted with rituals from a different religion, with everyone gathering around to participate? Moreover, as the king, if you were asked to read from the sacred texts of another religion during such a ceremony? While it is true that representatives of other religions were present outside the hall, offering their well wishes, it sends a clear message that England is a Christian country, and individuals of other faiths are not regarded as equal, at least in the eyes of the monarch. Can someone belonging to another religion ever ascend to the throne? Furthermore, why does the tradition of monarchy persist despite claims of elected representatives governing the country? These questions prompt us to reflect on the true basis of the new king's greatness, apart from being born into a lineage of rulers.

The prevalence of caste, clan, and discrimination remains distressingly high in the Western world, and this reality persists.

The Taj Mahal is a magnificent mausoleum located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century as a testament to his love for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1632 and was completed around 1653. Luckily its built too heavy else it would have been in the British museum in London.

The British colonial administration in India implemented policies that aimed to benefit British interests, often resulting in the extraction of wealth from India. These policies included heavy taxation, land revenue systems, trade monopolies, and the exploitative practices of the East India Company. These factors, along with other economic mechanisms, contributed to the drain of wealth from India during the colonial period.

Many of these artifacts found their way to British museums and private collections. During the period of British colonial rule in India, significant resources, wealth, and cultural artifacts were taken from the country. Here are a few examples of what the British took from India

Summer in Sikkim 2023

 I went on a trip with my family during the summer of 2023 to Sikkim from Bangalore. My wife, Ahilaa, and our children, Claire and Lohaan, joined me on this adventure. We took a Spice Jet flight from Bangalore to Bagdogra Airport on the 22nd of April 2023.

As soon as we landed, our driver, Rathan Chettri, greeted us and drove us to Gangtok. The journey from Bagdogra to Gangtok was scenic, with stunning views of the mountains, rivers, and forests. We decided to spend the night in Gangtok and explore the city the next day.

The next morning, we left for Lachen, Sikkim. From there, we got to see the majestic Kanchenjunga

mountain from a distance. We also went to Kalapathar, Sikkim, where we enjoyed playing in the snow with our children. The high altitude made it a little difficult to breathe, but the breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks made it all worth it.

Our next stop was Gurudongmar Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world, located at an altitude of 17,100 ft. The lake is considered sacred by the locals and is said to have miraculous powers. The beauty of the lake is mesmerizing, with crystal clear waters and snow-capped peaks surrounding it.

After exploring Lachen and Gurudongmar Lake, we left for Lachung, where we stayed for a night. The next day, we went to Yumthang Valley, known for its beautiful flowers and yaks. The sight of the colorful flowers and yaks grazing in the valley was a treat for the eyes.

As we came back to Gangtok, we got to explore the beauty of the city and its surroundings. We passed through army settlements, and we learned that roads and bridges in the area are managed by the Indian army, with the Gorkha regiment being mostly deployed in the region. The food in Sikkim is clean and less spicy, with leafy vegetables and momos being the staple food.

The people of Sikkim are diverse and welcoming, with various tribes like Bhujel, Bhutia, Bahun, Chhetri, Dewan (Yakha), Damai, Gurung, Kami, Rai, Lepcha, Limboo, Magars, Newar, Jogi (Sanyasi/Giri), Sarki, Sherpa, Mukhia (Sunuwar), Tamang, and Thami inhabiting the region.

On the 27th of April, we returned to Siliguri and took a flight back to Bangalore. It was a bittersweet moment, leaving behind the beauty and serenity of Sikkim but taking back with us wonderful memories and souvenirs. I bought a Sikkim sword as a memory of the place, while my wife Ahilaa picked up some cups and a kettle.

In conclusion, our travel to Sikkim from Bangalore was a beautiful and unforgettable experience. The scenic beauty, diverse culture, and warm hospitality of the people of Sikkim left a lasting impression on us, and we will always cherish the memories of this trip.

Christmas 2022

Christmas is always a special time of year, filled with love, joy, and the spirit of giving. For me, Christmas has always been the most wonderful season, from my childhood to now. This year, I celebrated Christmas 2022 in the comfort of my home, located at 28 Coconut Grove in Bangalore, with my wife Ahilaa and our children Claire and Lohaan.

Our preparations for the holiday began weeks in advance. We started by making decorations for our home, including a beautiful Christmas tree, stars, and lights. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to spend time together as a family and to create something special that would bring joy to our home during the holiday season.

On the day of Christmas, we all woke up early to begin the celebrations. We dressed in our best clothes and made sure everything was ready for our guests who would be joining us later in the day. We spent some time opening presents and sharing in the joy of the season before beginning the festivities.

As the day went on, we welcomed guests into our home, offering them delicious food and drinks. We enjoyed spending time with family and friends, catching up on each other's lives and sharing stories of our holiday traditions.

Of course, no Christmas celebration would be complete without a cake. We had a delicious cake that we all enjoyed, with its sweet flavors and festive decorations.

As the day drew to a close, we all gathered around the Christmas tree to exchange gifts and share in the love and happiness of the season. It was a beautiful day, filled with joy and memories that we will cherish for years to come.

In the end, our Christmas celebration in Bangalore was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was a time for us to come together as a family, to share in the traditions and joys of the season, and to create memories that will last a lifetime.

It has been quite a while since I last wrote. Many years have passed, and I attribute this hiatus to my engagement with microblogging. However, I have come to realize that my expectations as a writer differ from what I have been experiencing. Recently, I have been feeling the urge to write again. Working from home and abstaining from microblogging for several years has limited my opportunities to express my thoughts to a wider audience, leading me to find myself in a position where I have a lot to share.

Having ideas and thoughts but lacking the right audience to express them can be likened to a ripe fruit, full of seeds, stuck on a branch. The freedom bestowed upon us by our land and the education we have received provide us with the strength to think critically. Our experiences and observations of the society around us compel us to contemplate the injustices and inequalities faced by individuals. They also serve as a reminder of our privileged position in comparison to many others in the world.

Most of the time, we find ourselves fixated on those who appear more successful or happier than us within our immediate surroundings. These thoughts often stem from comparisons we make with the society we live in. Rarely do we compare ourselves to those who are underprivileged due to the economic and social conditions inherited from their ancestors. The place of our birth, the society we were raised in, the community we belong to, the language we speak, the state we hail from, our parents, our friends, our gender, the gender we identify with, our socio-economic status, our physical fitness, our disabilities—these factors all play significant roles in our lives. Whether we like it or not, this reality exists.

Discrimination is not solely based on gender, religion, region, country, ethnicity, or economic status. It can also manifest within an individual's perception of themselves. History has repeatedly taught us that wars have no end. When one war concludes, it often gives rise to new divisions that eventually lead to another conflict. Anything that perishes becomes nourishment for that which remains alive. In today's world, many individuals strive to distinguish themselves from others, often engaging in meaningless pursuits. One may witness senseless conflicts, where individuals create situations to manipulate the thoughts of others and defame those who do not align with their beliefs.

Once damage is done, it becomes irreparable. However, those who constantly worry about what others think of them or the image they project will encounter difficulties. It is crucial to let go of expectations and disregard the opinions of others in order to alleviate such concerns. If someone from the Cape of Good Hope harbors negative thoughts about a person living in the mountains of Bhutan, despite their lack of knowledge of one another, it holds no consequence for the individual in the mountains. Their indifference shields them from the impact of such opinions.

Embrace a liberated and contented state of mind, allowing only those within your inner circle to influence you. Gradually expand your circles and position individuals accordingly. Before elevating someone from an outer circle to a more inner one, consider the importance they should hold in your life, their thoughts, and their relationship with you. This discernment should align with the circle they belong to.

Ultimately, your happiness holds utmost importance.

The government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, implemented nationwide lockdowns and various measures to contain the spread of the virus.
